My latest podcast interview has just gone live and this episode is an interview with The Man from Del Monte. Brian Jackson was the actor who played the iconic Man from Del Monte for 7 years throughout the 80s. He kept orange-growers throughout the world on tenterhooks before giving them a ‘Yes’ or a ‘No’, like a modern day Julius Caesar. These were classic TV ads and the line ‘The Man from Del Monte, he says Yes!‘ has been become staple parlance here in the UK.
I had the pleasure of visiting Brian in his home and he indulged me with many stories of his time as the Man from Del Monte and his wide array of other acting experiences too.
