Notes:
Mean Machines was a short-lived multi-format video game magazine in the UK which was published between 1990 and 1992. The magazine actually started as a section within the popular Computer and Video Games magazine and was spun out into its own magazine by its editor Julian ‘Jaz’ Rignall of Zzap64! fame. It focussed primarily on Sega and Nintendo 8-bit and 16-bit consoles.

THE Finest Video Games Magazine EVER! That is a great issue too! I read that cover to cover thousands of times and it still looks fresh! :)

I absolutely loved this magazine. I was heartened to read that Julian Rignal now works in San Francisco for a gaming website.

I still have all my Mean Machines Sega mags back in the UK and maybe a couple of the old Mean Machines ones, but I think most of those got lost in a house fire.
