I have the most varied collection of marbles, and just discovered in research, are quite valuable. However, I have a collector who is offering me .10 to .40 per marble, of which I just discovered are worth 50x+ that amount. How can I get in touch with a reputable collector that will inspect and willing to purchase?

Hi Christine. That’s very interesting about your marble collection. I’m afraid I’m not much of an expert on marbles personally so might not be able to help too much. I’m wondering how you discovered in research that they are quite valuable? If your research is correct then hopefully those research avenues might let you find a collector or using the research information prove to the buyer how much they might be worth? Sorry I can’t be of more help. If I come across any marble experts or websites I will let you know.

What a shame that this end result is money. I wanted to see pictures of marbles and what they were called…… ergh. You’d never have had my pride and joy, monster slightly chipped pearlescent speckled oily…. I miss those beauties so much!

Oh no. I think we all have similar regrets. Things we would go back and salvage from the bin if we had a second change.
