Notes:
Airwolf was one of my favourite shows of the 80s. It seemed more realistic than some of the others and that seemed to really engage with me even more. Who could not like a supersonic, armed, military helicopter that could act like a ‘wolf in sheeps clothing’? Check out our interview with Alex Cord who played Archangel.

Airwolf is my all-time favorite show. I loved it so much that my parents forbade me to watch it. But I got the last laugh. I own all the episodes now and I named my protagonist in my novel Jan Michaela Weston, after JMV. I even got my publisher to let me put a Bell 430 (Airwolf-ish) on my cover. Ha!

I would probably have to say yes, personally, but I still love Airwolf!

Of note (or not!) is the “horrible” Canadian-produced fourth season, which was made on a shoestring budget to bump up the episode count for syndication sales in the US, which is cheap and nasty and often little to do with the rest of the series.
The video cover shown here (from a much later release of a scattering of episodes in the late 1990s), is actually of a version of the Pilot made for VHS and rental, with scenes re-edited and added to with footage from other episodes, some continuity with the series removed to make it a stand alone move, and swearing dubbed IN.
….nerd facts of the day.

“It seemed more realistic” ?? It was not realistic at all.
