This page from the 1986 Autumn/Winter Argos catalogue is pretty cool. You can see some classic toys such as the Matchbox Streak Racing, the Bigfoot truck, Scalextric, Hornby trains etc. But what really caught my eye were two playsets for the awesome Stompers. These were competitors to Rough Riders and I think were released slightly earlier. I love all the 4×4 battery operated vehicles like that. Stompers, Trekkers and Rough Riders. But I don’t remember much about these two Stomper playsets. They both look all kinds of awesome. Check out the zoomed in photo below.
